Profile

Competitive Tournament angler and Professional Fishing guide: Throughout his years of "growing up" in Grand Rapids, MN, I have taken advantage of the opportunity to learn numerous lakes in Northern Minnesota and the fish species they offer, becoming a knowledgeable, multi-species guide. Whether your in search of northern pike, small and large mouth bass, perch, crappie, blue gills, or the ever popular walleye. Sean's excitement combines with his extensive knowledge to make any "pole bending" day a memorable one.

Typical lakes fished: Winnie, Pokegama, Bowstring, Sand, Red, Mille Lacs and many other of the 1000 lakes in the Grand Rapids Area.

Days on the water: 100 plus, not including ice fishing were I spend at least 50 days a year chasing the frozen water fish.

Competitive angling: I have fished walleye and bass tournament over the last 15 years. From the Canadian Bass Championship to the MTT and WWT for walleyes, the competition makes for some fun times when not guiding.

Guiding: I started guiding at age 16 on the lake I grew up on, Pokegama. I have turned the dream into reality at an early age and have the utmost passion to fish 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In fact, most know me as a guy that guides all day on Winnie and heads for another guide trip after dark on Pokegama.

Favorite Techniques: Jig and minnow takes the top honor, but not far behind in pulling the Salmo crankbaits. At the end of the day whatever technique is catching fish we like.
